A short getaway – natural therapy

Life has become too fast and hectic. We all reach points where we need to wind down, take a step back and take a breather. If you are anything like me, you probably don’t realise how much you need that break until you get one. Sometimes even being forced into one like when you get sick – the body’s natural way to slow you down. The best way to truly cut off is by taking the plunge and spontaneously book a random trip. This is what happened a couple of months ago, when I ‘happened to find myself’ in Sicily.

Like most individuals I hadn’t been abroad in what feels like forever. Planning holidays in 2020 was out of the question due to the pandemic. This meant that I got super excited about work trips that I was meant to have. These included visits to Germany, Armenia, and Montreal, but of course, they all got cancelled and I was stuck at home. I desperately missed the rush of adrenaline I get on take-off and landing when sitting in an airplane.

  1. Thanks so much for your comment. Truth be told I didn’t do anything special. I just selected the gallery option that WordPress offers, and selected the photos in the order that i wanted them to appear, but the resizing is done automatically by WordPress. Hope this helps 🙂 good luck
